investigador de la Universidad de Carabobo, fue galardonado con el Premio Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n 2023 en la Categor\u00eda Mejor Trabajo Cient\u00edfico, Tecnol\u00f3gico y de Innovaci\u00f3n, Menci\u00f3n: Ciencias Exactas, por su trabajo sobre la predicci\u00f3n de la afinidad de mol\u00e9culas de asfaltenos por la regi\u00f3n interfacial agua\/crudo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los asfaltenos son una clase de hidrocarburos pesados que se encuentran en el petr\u00f3leo crudo y que pueden formar emulsiones estables con el agua, dificultando la separaci\u00f3n y el procesamiento del crudo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parra Figueredo es licenciado en Qu\u00edmica y Dr. en Ciencias menci\u00f3n Qu\u00edmica, egresado de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), para la ejecuci\u00f3n de su proyecto utiliz\u00f3 la qu\u00edmica computacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta rama de la qu\u00edmica emplea modelos y simulaciones computacionales para estudiar y resolver problemas qu\u00edmicos, para desarrollar un modelo basado en el par\u00e1metro de solubilidad, que mide la capacidad de una sustancia para disolverse en computacional predice la afinidad de asfaltenos en diferentes regiones interfaciales y con el trabajo que desarrollamos, en Venezuela, nosotros logramos determinar cu\u00e1les son los tipos de compuestos que tienen mayor afinidad en la regi\u00f3n interfacial, para as\u00ed evitar la precipitaci\u00f3n y favorecer la ruptura de emulsiones dentro de los sistemas de crudo \u201c, apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este trabajo tiene una gran relevancia para el sector petrolero nacional, ya que puede contribuir a mejorar la calidad y el valor agregado del crudo venezolano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Premio Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n es el m\u00e1ximo reconocimiento que otorga el Gobierno Bolivariano, a trav\u00e9s del Ministerio del Poder Popular para Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (Mincyt), a los cient\u00edficos, tecn\u00f3logos e innovadores que realizan aportes significativos al desarrollo cient\u00edfico de
